2027 Trips and Remaining 2026 Women's Spots

Alaska
July 18-24, 2027

Copper River Lodge offers an incredible Alaskan experience and is based on the Copper River near Pope Vannoy landing. There is only one permit to fish on the native owned Copper River and this lodge shares it with one other lodge. The limited access allows Copper River Lodge to leave jet boats on the upper Copper and access water that very few people fish.  With six jet boats (in total), three rafts and a Cessna 185 this experienced guide team will have our group on whatever regional waters are fishing best while we are there.

This is a small family style operation which will take only 6-7 guests. Six days of fishing include at least 3-4 days of fly out options. The lodge is right on the Copper River and there is great fishing just out the door of your cabin.  July is prime time for trout and Sockeye Salmon with dry droppers, mice, and some streamers. There are also options for Grayling, Northern Pike and possibly Lake Trout.

Accommodations are in small private cabins and the main lodge hosts all meals and includes a nice family room and beautiful deck overlooking the river to swap fish stories. It isn't unusual to see the bears come into the river in the evening looking for a late night snack.  Copper Rivers kitchen staff provides gourmet meals daily including freshly baked bread, pastries and more. Dietary restrictions can easily be accommodated.

Most days, especially those on the Copper, are spent wading and not fishing from a boat. Boats are primarily used for transport to the desired fishing locations. The bears, rainbow and salmon Alaska is known for await!  Alaska is an incredible experience that can very easily change your life…..

Teton & South Fork of the Snake
August 6-10, 2026  -Almost Full!

Set in the heart of Eastern Idaho, this is a prime launch point to fish two of the west’s most exceptional rivers: the Teton River and the South Fork of the Snake. Both offer breathtaking scenery and world-class flyfishing.

The Teton River is a stunning 81.5-mile tributary of the Henry’s Fork, and is home to rainbows, cutthroat, cutbows, and brook trout. Anglers will find a wide variety of water—from technical dry fly stretches to lively runs through dramatic canyons. During our August dates, you can expect PMD and terrestrial hatches.

The South Fork of the Snake flows 66 miles from Palisades Reservoir to its confluence with the Henry’s Fork; the South Fork is big water set against the dramatic backdrop of southeast Idaho. It’s home to Yellowstone cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout—and fish counts (according to Idaho Fish & Game) often range between 4,000–6,000 per mile depending on the section. Our chosen dates align with hatches of PMDs, Golden Stones, Tricos, and plenty of terrestrial action.

With such diversity, there’s something for every angler. We tailor each trip to match guests with like-minded anglers of similar skill and pair you with guides who’ll place you on the type of water you most want to explore. Single and double occupancy options are available. In the spirit of building more flyfishing friendships, this group will be slightly larger than normal. Plenty of water to spread out in the region and still share dinner and evenings with fellow Finatical Flyfishing ladies. Reach out for more details!

Argentina
Couples Trip January 2-9, 2027
Women's Trip February 20-27, 2027   2 Spots Left!

Patagonia includes a vast variety of landscape and flyfishing opportunities. The constant through all of them is the incredible people and culture. By request, we’ll have two groups in Patagonia in 2027, a Women’s Week (February 20-27) and a Couples / Mixed week (January 2-9). Both of these trips will include El Encuentro’s main lodge on the Futaleufu and their Brook Trout Base Camp.

The main lodge on the banks of the Rio Futaleufu (also referred to as the Rio Grande) is right at the base of the Andes. Views from the patio looking across the river pour over wilderness and mountains that are truly picturesque. Your time at the main El Encuentro lodge could be split between several sections of the “Futa’, offering solid fishing, clear turquoise waters and views of the Andes, the Corcovado or hiking creeks and private waters. Spring Creeks were a favorite of both groups fishing these waters in 2026 and should not be missed!

Brook Trout Base Camp was built on a quiet bend in the Corcovado River and offers a remote getaway allowing you to experience a list of fantastic flyfishing options while enjoying a quiet setting. You’ll take in the views on the river and the stars at night from the Andes. Flyfishing from base camp can be had right out the door of your casita (cabin) on the Corcovado. There are a few creeks and other river options in this area as well, however, Base Camp is known for the many regional trophy lakes and access to Brook Trout of all sizes. Something you shouldn’t miss!

The combination of the two lodges gives anglers the chance to experience all types of water and have shots at those trophy trout pics for the scrapbook. Along the way you’ll experience an “Asado”, “Mate”, plenty of Argentine Malbec and gourmet meals created fresh from the gardens and local markets.

Mexico 2027 is Filling Fast!
If you love the salt... or have always wanted to jump in, THIS is your opportunity. Kay Fly is a wonderful lodge with an incredible guide team. Two guides per boat (with two anglers) set those who want to permit hunt up with an extra set of eyes; and someone to help with all of those crazy unforeseen things that happen as soon as a permit appears.  Those who are new to the saltwater game will have help on the front of the boat with all things flyfishing.
