New Summer Openings

Bahamas Trip Report
We had an exceptional group enjoy time in the Bahamas in March. Ten ladies from all corners of the states, and even the UK, came together to enjoy five days of saltwater flyfishing at Mangrove Cay Club.

If you love the thrill of the salt, the crystal clear waters make the Bahamian flats a great place to be. Such clarity makes seeing the fish from a distance easy for both the angler and your boat mates.  The fishing was fantastic with everyone into bonefish. Our group of solid anglers also chased those double digit bones with a few of those being hooked and one ten pounder landed. We also landed Tarpon, Cuda, and Snapper during our stay. At least one shark followed the fly.... but no one had to release that either!

The lodge offers incredible food and drink and our evening menu included lobster, conch and other seafood as well as delectable deserts. Mornings start off with coffee or tea at your door and endless breakfast choices.  The bar served up many an island drink as well as the standard adult beverages you'd expect to find.. Spacious air conditioned rooms, and incredibly comfortable beds assured a solid nights rest after a hard day on the flats.

Working on future dates.... if you are interested drop us a line and we'll send you info as soon as it is finalized.

Casting for Recovery & Finatical Flyfishing

Finatical Flyfishing is donating one spot on this year’s Green River trip to Casting for Recovery. Leigh won and accepted the slot.... we can't wait to have her meet the Green River group in June.

This opportunity would not be possible without your continued support. We will keep you updated as this journey unfolds and look forward to many great things ahead.

Henry's Fork  Women's Trip
July 9-13, 2026
-One Spot Now Open!*

The Henry’s Fork is a legendary, bucket-list river—and we’ll spend three full days exploring its heart from beautiful Island Park, Idaho.

Our experienced guides know this river extensively, fishing nine distinct sections including the world-famous stretch known as "The Ranch". Whether you love the challenge of technical dry fly fishing or are just getting started, there’s something here for every angler. We’ll pair you with like-minded fishing partners and place you on water that aligns with your goals and experience level.

July is prime time on the Henry’s Fork. Expect a buffet of hatches—Drakes, Caddis, PMDs, Flavs, and maybe even a few lingering Salmon Flies. The river is alive, not just with trout, but with color and wildlife: wildflowers in bloom, eagles and osprey overhead, and the occasional moose, deer, or elk along the banks.

We’ll kick things off with a relaxed casting clinic at TroutHunter led by the one and only Millie Paini—a great way to sharpen your skills and settle in. From there, we’ve got everything covered: four nights of single or double occupancy lodging, all meals (with beer and wine at dinner), and three full days of guided fishing.

Just grab your rod and reel—we’ll take care of the rest. *This slot could be filled by one single occupancy angler or two double occupancy anglers.

Teton & South Fork of the Snake
August 6-10, 2026  -Almost Full!

Set in the heart of Eastern Idaho, this is a prime launch point to fish two of the west’s most exceptional rivers: the Teton River and the South Fork of the Snake. Both offer breathtaking scenery and world-class flyfishing.

The Teton River is a stunning 81.5-mile tributary of the Henry’s Fork, and is home to rainbows, cutthroat, cutbows, and brook trout. Anglers will find a wide variety of water—from technical dry fly stretches to lively runs through dramatic canyons. During our August dates, you can expect PMD and terrestrial hatches.

The South Fork of the Snake flows 66 miles from Palisades Reservoir to its confluence with the Henry’s Fork; the South Fork is big water set against the dramatic backdrop of southeast Idaho. It’s home to Yellowstone cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout—and fish counts (according to Idaho Fish & Game) often range between 4,000–6,000 per mile depending on the section. Our chosen dates align with hatches of PMDs, Golden Stones, Tricos, and plenty of terrestrial action.

With such diversity, there’s something for every angler. We tailor each trip to match guests with like-minded anglers of similar skill and pair you with guides who’ll place you on the type of water you most want to explore. Single and double occupancy options are available. In the spirit of building more flyfishing friendships, this group will be slightly larger than normal. Plenty of water to spread out in the region and still share dinner and evenings with fellow Finatical Flyfishing ladies. Reach out for more details!
