Henry's Fork Trip Report
We had a truly special group of fourteen ladies join us on the Henry’s Fork this July. With hometowns ranging from Vermont to Southern California and all the way up the West Coast, it was one of our most diverse groups yet. Our differences in age, backgrounds, and geography made for incredibly rich conversations, plenty of laughter, and memorable evenings together.

Each day brought new fishing adventures, and everyone got into fish. We explored a wide variety of water—our boats scattered from the lower Henry’s Fork all the way to the Madison in Montana. With hatches running ahead of schedule this year and higher flows adding a bit of challenge, 'The Ranch' didn’t give us many windows. Still, the sunshine, good company, and rising trout made for unforgettable days on the water. Rena and Michele each landed fish well over 20”—and no, we’re not revealing where these fish were caught!

The Henry’s Fork is always generous with its natural beauty. Eagles and Ospreys soared overhead, and quiet drifts down the river were often interrupted by breathtaking views. With Yellowstone National Park only 45 minutes away, there are plenty of things to see before and after your fishing trip. 

Guests had the option of single or double rooms, providing a comfortable retreat after full days on the water. Whether it was a moment to call home, unwind, or just recharge, everyone had space to relax. Mornings began with hearty breakfasts, and the evenings—from happy hour until dark—were filled with great food, new friendships, shared stories, laughter, and a bit of wine. One night even featured a spirited game of Left Right Center, where a pile of flies ended up heading back to Southern California!

Like our Green River trips, many of these amazing women have already made plans to return next year. The stunning scenery, unforgettable fish, and genuine connections are just too good to pass up. Henry’s Fork continues to be one of those places that keeps calling you back—and we can’t wait to do it all again.
 
2026 Dates & Summer Booking Promo
Dates for our 2026 Green River, Henry's Fork and Sun Valley, ID trips are posted and filling. These are the most popular trips and they are filling up. All three of these trips are based on the same format:
  • 3 days guided flyfishing with our favorite guides.
  • 4 nights lodging -single and double occupancy available.
  • All meals and beer or wine with dinner included.
Book between now and July 31st for $500 down. The rest of your (50% of trip cost) deposit will be due October 1, 2025. Balance of trip due 120 days before departure.
