Two Iconic Rivers -One Incredible Trip
The Teton & The South Fork of the Snake

August 6-10, 2026

The Teton River

A stunning 81.5-mile tributary of the Henry’s Fork, the Teton is home to rainbows, cutthroat, cutbows, and brook trout. Anglers will find a wide variety of water—from technical dry fly stretches to lively runs through dramatic canyons. During our August dates, you can expect PMD and terrestrial hatches. The Narrows often provide exciting hopper action, and certain sections of the Teton are also home to a unique mutant stonefly, creating unforgettable dry fly opportunities.

The South Fork of the Snake

Flowing 66 miles from Palisades Reservoir to its confluence with the Henry’s Fork, the South Fork is big water set against the dramatic backdrop of southeast Idaho. It’s home to yellowstone cutthroat, rainbow, and brown trout—and fish counts (according to Idaho Fish & Game) often range between 4,000–6,000 per mile depending on the section. Our chosen dates align with hatches of PMDs, Golden Stones, Tricos, and plenty of terrestrial action.

With such diversity, there’s something for every angler. We tailor each trip to match guests with like-minded anglers of similar skill and pair you with guides who’ll place you on the type of water you most want to explore.

Teton Valley Lodge

This lodge originated on the Teton River in 1938 and has been run by the Berry family and associates since 1950. A beautiful spot nestled right on the Teton River -not far from the Tetons themselves.
